Virtual Interior Design Consultation
The Process
• Start by paying a $250 video consultation fee.
• One of our Mix Home Design Associates will reach out to schedule a video consultation.
• Prior to the video consultation, fill out our virtual design consultation form, providing measurements of the spaces you need designed.
• Submit your completed form and email the design associate photos of your space, along with any design inspiration images.
• During the consultation, we ask questions to understand your likes, dislikes, wants, needs, and overall goals.
• After the consultation, our designer will email a detailed design proposal outlining our scope of services and your design fee.
• Once the design proposal is accepted and the fee is paid, your virtual design consultation begins.
Please note: Virtual design consultation turnaround times are typically 3–4 months.
The Deliverables
• Space Plan + Elevations — Furniture layout to improve flow and functionality, plus any dimensioned elevations needed for your builder.
• Design Mood Board — Includes layout and images of furnishings, fixtures, and finishes to visualize the concept.
• Furniture Selections — Thoughtfully curated to fit your lifestyle, scale, color palette, and budget, with styling details to elevate the design.
• Finish Selections — Paint, tile, flooring, lighting, and plumbing fixture selections for a cohesive design.
• Video Presentation — A video walkthrough of the design concept, layout, selections, and fabric/rug samples.
• Shoppable Item List — Clickable list of every item in your plan so you can implement the design on your own timeline.
