Thoughtfully scaled for today's multifunctional interiors, the Cashiers Small Writing Desk brings refined craftsmanship and timeless design to compact spaces. Inspired by the elegant practicality found in well-appointed country estates, its graceful silhouette balances sophisticated materials with everyday versatility, creating a workspace that feels both polished and inviting.
A silver travertine marble top introduces a sense of luxury and natural beauty, while the surrounding gallery rail adds architectural detail and helps keep essentials neatly contained. Crafted with European Oak veneers, the light Almond finish reveals the wood's natural grain, knots, and subtle texture, lending warmth and character to the desk's tailored profile. Tapered legs capped with metal ferrules provide a sophisticated finishing touch, while aged brass bar hardware complements the desk's understated elegance.
Designed with modern living in mind, the single drawer features a convenient drop-front for keyboard access, allowing the desk to transition seamlessly between a dedicated workspace and an elegant accent piece. At just 44.25 inches wide, the Cashiers Small Writing Desk is perfectly suited for studies, bedrooms, living spaces, or tucked-away work areas, offering a luxurious blend of beauty, function, and enduring style.
About the Cashiers Collection
Inspired by the understated elegance of Cashiers, North Carolina—a secluded mountain retreat known for its private estates and timeless charm—Hooker Furniture introduces the Cashiers Collection, a sophisticated interpretation of today’s renewed appreciation for traditional design. Influenced by English and French country estates, the collection balances classical forms with a relaxed, modern sensibility. European Oak veneers in two complementary finishes are enriched with custom hardware, silver travertine, top-grain semi-aniline leather, and soft performance fabrics, creating a layered palette that feels both elevated and inviting. Thoughtfully detailed and gracefully scaled, the designs suit the home's primary living spaces while transitioning easily throughout the home—luxury essentials that feel refined, livable, and effortlessly at home in well-edited interiors.
